The workforce is made up of a multitude of people. All have various backgrounds, educational levels, personalities, and experiences to draw from. This module takes a broad view of "diversity" and focuses on how every one is part of the diversity picture. Diversity can be a source of creativity and innovation but can be a source of conflict in groups. Employers are wise to adopt practices to respond to these changes and to integrate people of all backgrounds into the workforce to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance with the law.
The module covers these topics and more:
• Legal issues
• Global workplace
• Customer focus
• Our commitment to diversity
• Manager's role and responsibiliy
